I’m usually all about dresses, bags and shoes but a girl has to eat too. You can only look good in your clothes when you’re happy and healthy!
A few weeks ago I went out to this cool brassiere & wine bar for dinner in Dublin 2. It is so funky inside, the decor is warm and the stone walls gives it that wine cellar look. The food is amazing, the staff are welcoming and atmosphere is vibrant. I liked it so much I thought of bringing my friend there for a pre-weekend lunch.
The question of the day though was…..what to wear? Believe me, it’s always a big question for most ladies!
The day before our lunch, myself and Sorcha were exchanging outfit ideas all depending on the weather of course. There are so many outfits one can wear for lunching out without being over the top, e.g. jeans, blazers, jumpsuits, dresses, shorts etc
Most restaurants are not overly particular about what people wear but I think it’s nice to dress appropriately when going to a restaurant, no matter the time or occasion. Something formal or smart casual will be ideal.
I, personally, find skirts and dresses are very safe and comfortable, especially during this summer period. As we were on a work lunch break, we were already in the right outfits…..thanks to the sunny weather.
Walking back to the office, a lady stopped and complimented us on how beautiful we looked……thus ending our lunch date on a happy note.
